The Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol have arrested Scott P. Lewis of Edwards, Missouri. According to court records, a search of the vehicle Lewis was driving resulted in 2.14 pounds of methamphetamine being seized. In the vehicle officers also found a .357 magnum pistol, a 5.56 millimeter rifle, a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun, and a 7.62 millimeter rifle, among other items. Our office worked closely with these agencies regarding Lewis and has charged him with multiple felonies. Lewis currently stands charged with trafficking drugs and four counts of unlawful possession of a firearm. If convicted, Lewis faces up to life in prison. These charges are merely accusations and Lewis is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
